Taking a Walk is Almost Always Good, Even in the Rain!

It doesn’t cost much and there are very few forms of exercise that are better.
This is commonly known by most of us who enjoy walking. Still over the years I have come to realize that physical health is not the only benefit and sometime is eclipsed by the mental benefits one gains from walking.
A walk early in the morning alone or with a friend can jump-start the whole day in a very positive way.
Walking with a child will give you the opportunity to have some of the most memorable conversations you could ever hope to have. This experience may give the child the time needed to open up and discuss things that your busy day otherwise wouldn’t permit.
Walking at night even in a familiar location can provide a whole new perspective. You will see things that were always there but you never saw.
Over the years I have walked where every I find myself. This has included in New York City, along the Great Wall of China or is some small forgotten place. In each of these locations otherwise undiscovered insights treasures or new revaluations have resulted.
Start slowly and take it one step at a time. Let your body catch up with the pleasures of the experience and before you know it you will have walked hundreds of miles and changed your outlook on whatever has been holding you back.
It really is very simple, GO TAKE A WALK. You will be better for it.
